Mini Sudoku uses a smaller grid than a standard 9×9 puzzle. Every puzzle is generated with a valid completed grid, then checked for a single solution after clues are removed. No arithmetic is needed: use the numbers already in a row, column and box to work out what is missing.
Daily or practice?
The daily challenge uses the same puzzle for everyone on the same New York date. Your browser’s clock determines the date. Practice mode creates a fresh challenge when you choose “New practice game”. Results are for friendly comparison, without prizes or a public leaderboard.

Return to the daily game in the same browser to resume. You can switch to practice and back without losing today’s daily progress. To clear stored progress, use the control on our privacy page. If something looks wrong, tell us the game and date through the contact form.
